I have been putting off this blog topic for a while, but for some reason, it has never escaped me from wanting to write about it. Lately, God has been tugging at my heart to finally publish it. So, embarrassing, private, and vulnerable as I feel to write about it for others to see, I feel led and compelled to tell my story. I would say that I was always aware of my appearance. Baby Lala: week 12

The Lord has been pressing on my heart to relinquish him something that I have carefully monitored in my past two pregnancies. And it's not easy. I have lists that document the pounds that I gained in each pregnancy. It consumed me in the past; how quickly I gained weight. And no one wants to gain 10 pounds in 5 weeks like I did this pregnancy. In addition to the "all day" sickness I have felt, coupled with the fatigue, I have been consumed with how quickly have had to switch to maternity clothes with this third one. I remember also being consumed with what I weighed with the other two..and I don't want to be consumed with such a silly thing...it's been hard to enjoy my pregnancy feeling huge. Crazy Lady

I get questions a lot about the reason behind the amount of energy that I have. It's true. I do. Two kids, full time job, Jazzercise instructor...I am not the type to like to sit down very often. If this blog comes of as prideful, condescending, or interfering; I apologize. I am not the kind of person to feel obligated to boast in anything. In fact, I truly give glory to God for the energy that I have. It seems like when I am following Him, I always get excited and feel energetic.
